Greetings from our President!
WELCOME to the 2008 - 2009 school year at La Vorgna!!! I am proud and excited to announce that the LES PTA is planning an X-TREME year!
We will be kicking off the year with our membership drive. It is the goal of our membership committee to have 100% participation. When you join the PTA, your children will receive a ticket to attend an X-TREME nacho party. Please remember that when you become a part of the PTA family, you are supporting a dedicated national, non-profit organization whose goal it is to be advocates and supporters for children's safety and education.
Thanks to the help and support of our wonderful LES families, we are looking forward to the return of many popular programs and events such as our Book Fair, Meet the Masters Art Program, Field Trips, Assemblies and more! We know that every year, without the support and help of the wonderful parents of LES, none of these things would be possible. We appreciate any amount of time, energy, or funds contributed to our school. The PTA will once again sponsor a catalog fundraising sale in the Fall allowing us to continue the support of these important events and programs.
We are looking forward to an X-TREME year! GO LIONS!

Please return your membership envelope to your child's teacher as soon as possible.
Volunteers Needed
Parent volunteers are the backbone of a great school. It's also a great way to meet other parents and get to know your student's teachers and classmates. We are inviting all volunteers and anyone interested in volunteering to our VOLUNTEER BRUNCH AND FREE RAFFLE Friday, Sept. 26th after the flag assembly. We will be raffling off prizes to all new volunteers who sign up. Contact the PTA office at 294-6399, email us here, or just stop by!
